Beautiful Jesus: Our Promised Land

Obtaining Blessings Through The Features of Christ

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”

2 Corinthians 1:20

“The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity … in the land He swore to your forefathers to give you.”

Deuteronomy 28:11

God swore to give the children of Israel a land full of blessings and abundant prosperity. Every region of the promised land was designed to produce a different dimension of God’s blessings for Israel. The promised land was overflowing with vineyards full of enormous grapes, mountains abundant with precious metals, rivers running with clean water, cows producing fresh milk, bees giving sweet honey, and tasty fig and pomegranate trees. God deposited all of His promised blessings to Israel within the beautiful land. The promised land is literally a land embedded with the blessings of God everywhere. These promises are still being discovered, obtained and enjoyed by the ancient children of Israel even today.

Beloved, in like manner, every single promise of God for the Church has been deposited within the person of Jesus Christ. Israel was given the promised land, but God  has given us the promised man, beautiful Jesus. There is so much to be uncovered in the mystery that is Christ. “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body,” radiating through every feature. He has beautiful hands abundant with healing and multiplying power, beautiful eyes aflame with unconditional love and compassion, beautiful ears which are eternally attentive to the voice of His people. John G. Lake said, ”the artists paint a halo around the head of Jesus. They might as well put it about His hands, feet, body, because the radiation of the Spirit of God is from all the being.” God’s promised man is overflowing with the fullness of the Godhead for your benefit. God has stored every promise from the Scriptures within His beautiful Son for you to obtain, “power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor glory, and blessings.” He is your only source for God’s unlimited grace, love and supply. Therefore, ask Him in confidence, seek Him in quietness, and love beautiful Jesus intentionally and specifically, part by part.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Revelation 22:16
